human tetris

Japanese game shows ROCK! We get "Price is Right" and they get "Human Tetris"! It just ain't fair. Forget about math and science scores or a war-crazed president - sucky game shows are the real reason our country's stature in the world is slipping.

advent 2007 - first sunday

1 peter 4:7-11

The end of all things is near. Therefore be clear minded and self-controlled so that you can pray. Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms.

If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.

backpacks for the homeless

This year for Christmas, we're doing our "backpack" project again. We'll create backpacks for the homeless and carry them with us. They'll be filled with useful items like a blanket, jacket, food, toilet paper, toothbrush, etc. We're doing it with the youth group.

If anyone would like to help by donating backpacks or jackets, you can email me and we'll coordinate getting them from you.

I may vote for Huckabee. I don't know about his platform... I have no idea how he votes. But I do know one thing: THIS IS THE BEST CAMPAIGN AD EVER!!!!!!
